Tech notes:
This gasket is stiffer and includes integral impregnated self sealing bead(s) that significantly increases the surface load sealing ability of the valve cover, over the OE or OEM version.
Its ability to ‘grip’ and conform to the metal surfaces, when tensioned correctly and enhances its ability to withstand much higher intake boost pressures.
Additional sealants are not required when installing this gasket further reducing the likelihood of misaligned or uneven clamping forces being introduced that will compromise structural integrity over time.
